Mummies – oh how I love them

We are currently getting ready for our family vacation and things are a bit hectic around here. Cori has her many lists for what we need to bring with us and do before we leave. Cori had procured us a free CSA farm share this summer from our farmer by agreeing to help out with his website – should be very exciting, we will have a full share this year – lots of veggies for us.

On friday we spent some time in the pool with our dive equipment to make sure we don’t look like idiots when we show up at the dive shop in Akumal. We are very excited we have a condo on the beach with a kitchen for almost he same price as a hotel room. Xander if very excited (he has new goggles)

We had brunch today for a friends birthday – great fun. I am trying to get Cori to do a bit of blogging and I think we may create a second blog called Xander ramblings to allow her to post the most interesting (or odd) things that Xander says each day. Apparently today he wanted to know where people go when they die, of course, Cori told him they go into the ground and live on in peoples thoughts. Xander had his own answer – “they go into the ground, but people put them in a sarcophagus …” and went on about glass cases and museums, pyramids in Egypt, etc. I think the Xander ramblings blog will be a hit – he is a bit interested in mummies, if you did not pick that up.

Thats all for now – we will be on vacation in Akumal, Mexico for 8 days starting tuesday. I hope everyone is doing well, and it seems that there is a little bit of re-interest growing in the blog.
